Youngjin Kim

Youngjin Kim is a classical pianist and educator currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at Boston University. She made her orchestral debut at the age of eleven and has since performed internationally in the United States, South Korea, Belgium, and Puerto Rico. Her career includes solo recitals, chamber music collaborations, and guest appearances with orchestras, with performances ranging from major concert halls to community outreach venues. She also holds both a Master of Music and a Graduate Performance Diploma from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.

As a teacher, Youngjin is passionate about guiding students to find their unique artistic voice. She fosters a supportive and creative environment where curiosity and confidence can flourish, while also encouraging discipline and high artistic standards. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes the balance between technical mastery and expressive depth, inspiring students not only to develop strong pianistic skills but also to cultivate a lifelong love of music and meaningful connection through art.
