Location: Newton, MA (with regional business development in New England)

Steinert & Sons is the world’s oldest Steinway & Sons piano dealer and the exclusive authorized representative for New England. For over 160 years, we have provided world-class pianos to luxury buyers, professional musicians, educators, institutional clients, and performing arts venues. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Brand Ambassador with a passion for luxury, music, and business development to expand our market presence and build relationships with high-end clientele.

 

Role Overview

The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and cultivating long-term relationships with clients in the luxury market, music community, and educational institutions. This role goes beyond traditional showroom sales—it requires a proactive approach to lead generation, networking, and business development to identify new prospects and engage influential buyers.

The ideal candidate is a proven sales professional with experience in luxury retail or consultative sales and a talent for developing relationships. While piano-playing ability is not required, it is highly preferred.  The ability to communicate effectively with musicians is essential. A strong musical and tonal understanding is critically important.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve personal sales goals while supporting the business in meeting revenue objectives.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to engage with high-net-worth individuals, music professionals, and institutions.
  • Cultivate relationships with music educators, performance venues, and arts organizations to generate new leads.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to drive showroom traffic and expand brand presence.
  • Organize and participate in events, networking opportunities, and community outreach programs to attract new clientele.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align lead generation efforts with digital and outbound campaigns.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, manage leads, and optimize business development strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or luxury retail, with a demonstrated ability to generate leads and close deals.
  • Passion for music and the arts—a background in piano or music is highly preferred.
  • Strong networking skills with experience building relationships with high-net-worth individuals and industry influencers.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying new opportunities.
  • Experience using CRM software (HubSpot preferred) for lead tracking and client management.

Marketing Coordinator – Piano Retail

Location: Remote (Boston Area)

As we continue to grow in Boston and look to expand throughout New England, we are seeking a strategic and data-driven marketing professional with a passion for pianos, music, and the luxury market.

 

Role Overview

The Marketing Coordinator (full-time or contract consultant) will play a crucial role in driving new customer acquisition and engagement strategies for our retail piano business. Working collaboratively with a Marketing Associate, In-house Videographer, Sales Manager, and the President, this position will focus on lead generation, digital marketing, and paid media strategy, ensuring that our brand reaches and resonates with high-end buyers, music professionals, and institutions throughout the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute targeted lead acquisition strategies to attract luxury buyers, professional musicians, and institutions in the region.
  • Craft and implement email and social media marketing campaigns to re-engage and nurture existing leads.
  • Oversee the paid media strategy, working with external vendors to optimize campaigns for ROI.
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to analyze marketing performance, interpret data, and make informed marketing decisions.
  • Identify and leverage luxury marketing opportunities to enhance brand visibility in Boston and other key New England markets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on digital and inbound marketing.
  • Expertise in HubSpot CRM, with the ability to analyze data and optimize campaigns.
  • Proficiency in leveraging A.I.-driven marketing tools for data analysis, customer segmentation, and campaign personalization to enhance engagement and ROI.
  • Experience in luxury marketing, targeting high-net-worth individuals and targeted clientele.
  • Passion for pianos, music, and music education—ideally with personal or professional experience in the field.
  • Strong understanding of paid media, email marketing, inbound marketing, and social engagement strategies.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors and internal teams while maintaining a strategic approach.

While we prefer a full-time hire, we are open to experienced marketing consultants who can contribute on a contract basis.
