Rick Gangopadhyay began studying piano at the age of three, embarking on a lifelong connection with the instrument and developing a deep appreciation for the artistry of piano playing.

He studied with Eleanor McLaughlin before continuing his studies with Gregory Hayes and Sally Pinkas at Dartmouth College, as well as Niel Immelman of the Royal College of Music in London. At Dartmouth, Rick majored in music, specializing in piano performance, while also majoring in biology. His musical accomplishments include prize-winning competition performances and recognition from the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA), the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association (MMTA), and the New England Piano Teachers Association (NEPTA), among others. He was also a prize winner in the Dartmouth College Tracy Piano Competition.

After Dartmouth, Rick spent time in the finance and consulting industries before returning to the world of music, where he could bring his lifelong passion for the arts into his work.

Whether working with individuals or organizations, he brings a lifelong perspective as a musician and an enthusiasm for helping others connect with and discover more about the world of music and the arts.
