Joseph is a conductor, singer, and music educator with a comprehensive background in music performance. He holds a masters in choral conducting from the New England Conservatory of Music and a bachelor's degree in music education and vocal performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. 

Primarily trained as a vocalist, Joseph loves poetry, languages, and vocal music-making. It was through his experiences singing art song that his appreciation and love for the piano grew. In this genre, the piano and voice are treated as equals in importance and expression, and this was where he developed a nuanced appreciation for the textural variety and tonal clarity the piano can provide. 

Joseph’s motivation for finding you the perfect piano comes from understanding the necessity of allowing instrumental music-making to emulate the expression of the voice.
