Angela Hu joined M. Steinert and Sons Piano Academy in 2024. She is an accomplished concert pianist and chamber musician, dedicated to inspiring others through performance and teaching. With a career that spans performances on international stages, Angela has engaged diverse audiences through her work as a soloist and collaborative musician. Her participation in prestigious music festivals and master classes continually enriches her approach to performance and pedagogy, allowing her to bring fresh insights to her students.
Angela began her teaching career in 2015, developing a philosophy that centers on building solid techniques, fostering healthy practice habits, and creating a welcoming, accessible learning environment. Believing in each student's unique potential, she tailors her lessons to support individual goals—whether students aspire to competitions, prepare for recitals, or pursue music for personal enrichment.
With experience teaching students of all ages and levels, Angela is known for her supportive, collaborative approach. Angela holds undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where she studied under distinguished pianists.
