To rebuild a piano correctly, it takes as long as building a new one. And only Steinway can do it properly, with their proprietary soundboard and state-of-the-art equipment. This 1917 piano was completely rebuilt at the factory, receiving a new soundboard, bridges, strings, action, dampers, and hardware. The original plate was re-bronzed, and the case was completely refinished. At 6’4”, the Model A-III is two inches bigger than the modern Model A. You won’t believe what you hear when you play this incredible piano.
