The piano masterclass is a time-honored tradition by which highly accomplished musicians provide real-time feedback to emerging young artists during a live performance. The masterclass is an invaluable opportunity for aspiring artists to receive constructive feedback from concert-level pianists. It is a fascinating event to observe, even if you do not play the piano.

M. Steinert & Sons is pleased to announce an upcoming masterclass by Artist-in-Residence Sonya Ovrutsky Fensome on February 28th, at 5pm. The class will feature three pre-selected piano students from the Metrowest area. The event is free and open to the public, however seating is very limited. If you would like to attend, please make your reservation now at EventBrite.com

Following the masterclass, Sonya Ovrutsky Fensome will perform a 1-hour program of French music: “From Saint-Saens to Stravinsky.”

Ms. Ovrutsky Fensome is an internationally acclaimed concert pianist and graduate of The Juilliard School of Music. Please click here for her full biography.
