It is our great pleasure to welcome back Sa Nguyen to the M. Steinert & Sons Natick Performance Center for a performance of,  “Sounding colours and colourful sounds; 
an aural-visual exhibition with piano music of Claude Debussy and artworks of Ms. Sa Nguyen.”  Ms. Nguyen will be performing an evening of classical music while also showcasing her artwork.

William Coukos, a student of Ms. Nguyen’s at our Steinert Piano Academy, will collaborate on the evening’s four hand repertoire.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sa Nguyen was born in Da Nang, Vietnam. She entered the conservatory in Hue City at age 11, beginning her full time commitment to music. In 1996, Ms. Nguyen won the Second Place award in the “Young Talent Piano Competition”. She earned her Masters in Music degree in Piano Performance, with Distinction, in 2004 from Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music. Ms. Nguyen subsequently served there as Lecturer of Piano until moving to the United States in 2017. Sa Nguyen has been in demand as a soloist, accompanist, chamber musician, and teacher. Ms. Nguyen has performed frequently for the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO), Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music, and Ho Chi Minh City Television. She joined the M.Steinert & Sons Piano Academy in the Fall of 2017, and currently teaches private lessons as well as the “Piano For All!” group class for adults. It is our great pleasure to welcome Ms. Nguyen tonight in a recital celebrating the 100th anniversary of composer Claude Debussy. Ms. Nguyen will be assisted in the 4 hand portion of her program by her student, William Coukos.
