Clarissa Wong

Clarissa is a junior at Algonquin Regional High School. She began playing piano at the age of 5 and has worked alongside Ms. Niu for most of her piano career. Clarissa has played a variety of music from different composers, but she enjoys Chopin and Gershwin the most. Outside of lessons, Clarissa performs piano and cello with the Claflin Hill Youth Symphony Orchestra and teaches piano to beginner students. She also writes for the school newspaper and loves to travel.

Dylan Zhou

Dylan started playing piano at 5 years old, and at 6 years old he began working with Ms. Niu. Now he is 17 and a junior at the Roxbury Latin School, where he has the pleasure of making music with friends in the Chamber Ensemble and in the Glee Club. In the Chamber Ensemble, Dylan plays piano alongside a talented cellist and violinist in a trio, and the group is now working on Mendelssohn’s Piano Trio No. 1 in D Minor. In the Glee Club, his function is of dual nature: piano accompaniment as well as choral singer. Besides music, Dylan also enjoys playing tennis and drawing.
