Tanya Bartevyan in a graduate of Harvard University and the New England Conservatory of Music. Her teachers include Ferdi Statzer, Veronica Jochum, Katja Andy, Leonard Shure, and Maria Clodes Jaguaribe. She has performed in major venues in the Boston area, such as the Gardner Museum, Jordan Hall, WGBH Classical Radio, Fogg Art Museum, Paine Hall and others. Most recently, in August 2014, she was personally invited to take part in the Puigcerda Festival in Spain by the festival's founder, renowned pianist Oxana Yablonskaya.
Tanya's performances have received praise from colleagues and audiences for their passion, intelligence, and musical sensitivity. She has also pursued work in composition and orchestral conducting, as well as engaged in writings about connections and unities between arts and sciences.
