Once again this year M. Steinert & Sons is providing a Steinway-built Boston Grand Piano for the Royal Rooters Club at historic Fenway Park. The ebony black Boston GP163 grand piano also features an innovative PianoDisc system that plays the piano remotely so that Royal Rooters Club members can enjoy music with or without a pianist at the keyboard.

“We first brought a piano into the park during Fenway’s 100th anniversary year, in 2012,” said Paul Murphy, Jr., president of M. Steinert & Sons. “It was so popular with fans in the Royal Rooters Club that we have continued to bring it back every year since.”

The Royal Rooters Club, which is located above the Big Concourse and behind the right field grandstand, is named after the Royal Rooters, a Red Sox fan club in the early 1900s, and was added as part of Fenway Park’s 100-year anniversary celebration.
