ALEX POLIYKOV

Alex Poliykov is a Ukrainian Pianist, Conductor and Pedagogue. He received his education from National Music Academy of Ukraine named a er P.I. Tchaikovsky, having completed separate B.M., M.M. degrees in Piano performance/Music Education and Orchestral conducting (Borys Arkhymovych, Allin Vlasenko); and from the Boston Conservatory, nishing the Artist Diploma program in Piano (Michael Lewin). Besides academic studies, he has participated in a great number of masterclasses, learning from great musicians such as Paavo Jarvi, Neeme Jarvi, Harold Farberman (conducting), Jerome Rose, Leslie Howard, and Nikolai Demidenko (Piano).

Alex is actively concertizing all over the world, performing
solo recitals as well as chamber music, while collaborating with symphony orchestras in some of the nest concert halls. He gives master classes, concert lectures, and engages in music educational programs with elementary schools and other institutions; organizes symphonic concerts, and leads opera productions.
